I felt like I’d driven straight into a ‘storybook garden’ when I turned up at the famous Glenmore House for the magazine shoot. Picture sweeping green lawns, sprawling gardens filled with tall trees, small plants and lush flowers that pull you through the garden towards a beautifully restored house, a barn, then an old dairy and then a huge open shed. Complete this picture with epic hedges, a small Olive grove, a large kitchen garden, fruit trees and a chooks… heaven! Everything I’d seen and read about Glenmore House still didn’t prepare me for how truly stunning the place is. It was a garden most of us dream about, pin on Pinterest boards, or swoon over on Instagram.
The photoshoot was for a local publication, MacArthur Magazine. The shoot was a little challenging because it rained on and off most of the day, but between four fairly big rain showers we managed to get what we needed.
Mickey as a delight to work with, super patient, styled with a ‘no fuss’ manner, made me lunch and tea (no creativity flows from a hungry photographer).
